Tanning and libido support.
Melanotan II is a synthetic analog of α-MSH (alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone). It is researched for its effect on melanogenesis (tanning) and its action on melanocortin receptors involved in libido.
Activates MC1R (skin pigmentation) and MC4R (libido and appetite) receptors to stimulate melanin production and sexual response.
Typical research protocol: 250–500 mcg in the evening, 2–4× weekly initially. Sunscreen is still required — MT2 does NOT prevent UV damage.
